Celebrating 40 years of ministry

It all started With…

…a dream on a mountain top in Eastern Oregon and became an adventure that we have all had a privilege to share in. We’ve had so many happy memories. Let’s share those memories with Pastor Tim as he hands off the dream to a new generation. Thank you, Pastor Tim, for your faithfulness and heart for God.

We would love for you to join us on Sunday, February 25th for the 10:30AM worship service as we celebrate Pastor Tim’s 40 years of serving as the Senior-Lead pastor of Washington Cathedral.  Although Pastor Tim plans to retire at a later time, we want to express our thanks to him for answering God’s call, to build a great caring network called Washington Cathedral. Pastor Tim will be passing the Lead pastor torch over to Pastor Mark Nsimbi, but remain on the church staff as Senior Executive Pastor.

After the service, stick around for an all-church potluck to continue our celebration! Please label your dish and take home with you. If your last name begins with an A – F, please bring soup in a crockpot.  Last names G – K, please bring a large salad. Last names L – T, please bring a large main dish. Last names W – Z, please bring a large side dish.
