Join us on Saturday, May 17th from 5pm-7pm for our All In event!
We’d love for you to join us for a very special evening as we launch a new season of generosity and connection at Washington Cathedral.
This inspiring night will include a message from Pastor Mark Nsimbi as he shares the vision for this year’s theme- Each One, Reach One - along with updates from our financial team and a first look at our upcoming giving campaign.
We’ll gather around the table for a delicious Chinese buffet from Chan’s Place (yes, vegan options included!), followed by dessert and time to connect with others. Whether you've been part of Washington Cathedral for years or you're just beginning to call it home, this evening is for you.
Childcare will be provided, and we suggest a $20 donation per person to help cover the cost of the meal and event.
Come ready to be encouraged, challenged, and inspired—we can’t wait to share this time with you!
ALL IN at Washington Cathedral means that we are wholeheartedly committing to embracing our faith, actively participating in the church, and relying on God’s guidance as He leads Washington Cathedral into an exciting season of worshiping, belonging, inviting, serving, and giving. These are our pillars, built on the rock of Christ, and a foundation of prayer and discipleship. This next year we are leaning into being a church who is inviting. We want to be people who make space for others in our lives.
But what does it mean to be invitational?
Each One, Reach One
Inviting begins with genuine love—It’s not about getting someone to church; it’s about making space for—friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers—to share the good news and build authentic relationships.
We welcome them into our lives through events, dinners, Bible studies, and community outreach. We listen to their stories, share our own, and build bridges rooted in understanding and compassion.
Our vision statement says, “We are a community of people seeking to live our lives like Jesus and desiring to be His caring hands to our neighbors.” This is our opportunity to live that out—together.
