Serve Your City

For over 30 years, Washington Cathedral’s mission has been to love our community as genuinely and practically as we possibly can. That mission hasn’t changed!  We recognize that we are a “regional” church, meaning our weekend attenders come from a vast variety of cities and neighborhoods.

Serve Your City is our vision for extending Washington Cathedral and more importantly, Jesus into your neighborhood. While we still have various “all church” outreaches, such as our annual Santa Conspiracy - Serve Your City is a plan that provides you the opportunity to serve in a more consistent, relationship based way. Why do we do this? It’s simple! We believe that God’s plan for the Church is to be a movement and not a building.

The current Serve Your City opportunities are listed below. To get connected into serving in one of these areas, simply contact Pastor Rex Hamilton  and you will receive all the info you need to start your serving adventure!
