Description

Building teamwork and expertise in all team and individual sports in a competitive environment through training, fellowship and goal oriented focus. Any individual or team sport may be included in this ministry. Slowly, we are building this into a larger ministry that encompasses a variety of sporting activities. We have had astonishing success in our first year with the leadership of Randy & Rod Halvorson. The Athletic Program is a Health Resource Center sponsored ministry.

Our triumphs include:

A co-ed softball team that has won back-to-back championships for the Redmond league!
A men's basketball team that won a Championship last spring!
A men's dodge-ball team that placed 3rd!
A men’s flag football team that has won two Championship titles

In the future we plan on having these sports along with others such as mountain and road biking, mountain climbing, volleyball, soccer, flag football, golf, and snowboarding. We also offer quarterly matches between team Young and Team Experience in football, basketball, volleyball, and softball. Play is open to all over 18. We also offer fantasy sports which are free online. All of this is in hopes that we can build friendships and reach out to our community. This is one part of the Greatest Caring Network.
