Campaign Teams

Many hands make light work! If you have even an hour to assist in labeling envelopes, making phone calls or helping with other clerical needs for the campaign-this is your team!

Media Team

If you enjoy the creative and impacting elements of photography, videography, or multi-media production this team is for you. Be a part of this unique group responsible for telling the story and capturing moments during the Deepen Our Roots campaign.

Leadership Event Team

On March 9, various Washington Cathedral leaders will come together for an event leading the way with their pledge commitments. Volunteers are needed for planning, hosting and preparation for this event.

Personal Communication Team

Every member of our church family needs to be informed. On this team, you will encourage individuals and families to pray and attend energized events tailored to them. Join this team if you have a heart for connecting with people and encouraging others to use their gifts.

Legacy/Key Donor Team

Do you wish to share lifelong friendships with others who have a passion for the Vision, here at Washington Cathedral? This team engages in meaningful, direct contact with Key Donors of the Deepen Our Roots Campaign. Help those who have a “special ability to give” find a purposeful opportunity to leave a Legacy.

INdeavor Team

Do you have the gift of Teaching? If you enjoy working with web–based programs

this is you’re your opportunity to serve. Help other Team Leaders use the web-based program already in place, to keep all the Deepen Our Roots Campaign Teams connected.

Invitation Team

Do you have a passion for people and enjoy making new acquaintances? Join this fun team where volunteers will encourage people to attend the key events of the campaign.

Celebration Event Team

If you enjoy putting together a grand party, this team needs you. The weekend of March 19-20 will be a celebration like no other at Washington Cathedral! Through creative event planning this team will be preparing the facility and hosting this exciting event.

Hospitality Team

Do you have a servant heart for others? This team will prepare food for campaign team meetings and special events. What a wonderful way to serve others for the Lord.

Follow Up Team

Help continue to share the Washington Cathedral story. This team will walk alongside our congregation and community in the months following the Celebration Event (3/19-20). Help participants stay the course and provide new members with opportunities to get plugged in to the Deepen Our Roots Campaign.

Prayer Support Team

Prayer is strengthened in numbers! The need for prayer can be met by everyone in the Washington Cathedral family, however some of you may feel led to volunteer for the organizational needs of the Prayer Team as we create specific opportunities for people to pray.
